Nancy J. Manley, our SAME Membership Director, won the Award for Federal Engineer of the Year, 2004.  It is the 25th FEYA given and the 1st time it has been won by a woman.

FEYA is given by the National Society of Professional Engineers (the Professional Engineers in Government practice division).  It is a Federally recognized award - your agency nominates you up the chain (as in CE, base, AFMC, then Air Force).  Then, all of the agency winners (meaning Air Force, Army, EPA, ...) compete at the NSPE level.
