Once again we made close to $5,000 for next year's scholarship fund. Thank you to all who participated. Pictures will be posted soon.
The Streamer Award packages allow the Post to show off the many wonderful activities and events that each Post holds for the year. The streamers are organized into several categories: Emergency Preparedness and Homeland Security; Education and Training; Relationships and Recognition; and Outreach and Communication. Posts can win streamers with distinction if they satisfy all required elements plus a certain number of desired elements (depending on if the Post is a small, medium, or large Post).
In order to be named as a Distinguished Post, posts must win the Membership Award; send someone to the Leadership Conference; and win a set number of streamers depending on the size of the Post. Congratulations to the Robins Post for being named a Distinguished Post for 2011!
